Mr. Kenneth Doyle
Executive Director
Welcome Home Day Foundation

Dear Mr. Doyle,

I am inspired by your goal, and honored to lend my support. It is through such dedication that America will realize that the Vietnam War did not just stop on a date, but had a profound and lasting effect on the hearts and minds of the American people.

Now is the time to make a firm statement to show solidarity in support of our fighting men and women ... past, present and future. My reverence for their courage and sense of duty is profound, and those families who have endured the emotional wars at home for those who fought, were also heroes in their own right. It is appropriate to honor those who have given so much. So, I join with the many state governors that have already proclaimed their support, to lend my voice in urging all Americans to get behind this cause.

I personally thank all Vietnam Veterans and their families for the many sacrifices they made for our country, and say Welcome Home! I look forward to assisting you in any way possible to make this dream a reality for your organization.
